Cortex A9 Baremetal CPAK Featuring Carbon's Traffic Generator

Description

This is a multi-core Cortex A9 system containing a L2 Cache Controller, an AXI fabric, a generic memory and IO subsystems; Constructed in SOC Designer using models from Carbon IP Exchange. This is a basic hardware and software system that can extend to serve as a starting point for your virtual prototype. This virtual prototype also incorporates ARM’s RealView Debugger and Carbon’s SoC Designer Plus’ profiling tools. This Carbon Performance Analysis Kit (CPAK) demonstrates the functionality of the Dual Cortex-A9 DMA system. In addition to the components of the system, the CPAK includes:

  • Packet process software, which simulates interaction with peripheral devices
  • Tests for packet transfer and DMA controller functionality

Cortex A9 Android

Description

This is a Cortex A9 system using the AXI fabric with memory and IO subsystems constructed in SoC Designer Plus using models from Carbon IP Exchange. It comes with a ported version of the Android OS. The source code is included. This is a basic hardware and software system that can extend to serve as a starting point for your virtual prototype. This virtual prototype also incorporates ARM’s RealView Debugger and Carbon’s SoC Designer Plus’ profiling tools.

This analysis kit contains Swap ‘n Play capable models to enable the entire system to boot Android in seconds and then swap to the 100% accurate representation at any software breakpoint. (Swap ‘n Play requires additional license features)

It performs a sorting algorithm written in C with complete system initialization code in ARM assembly. The source code is included. Description

This is a Cortex A9 system using the AXI fabric with memory and IO subsystems constructed in SoC Designer Plus using models from Carbon IP Exchange. It comes with a ported version of the Linux OS built with a custom root filesystem.

This is a basic hardware and software system that can extend to serve as a starting point for your virtual prototype. This virtual prototype also incorporates ARM’s RealView Debugger and Carbon’s SoC Designer Plus’ profiling tools.
